New Titles in the Webstore for September / August 2019:

SHEER MAG "A Distant Call" LP (Wilsuns Recordings)
Sheer Mag return with their sophomore album, “A Distant Call.” They’re still writing about surviving our current hellscape, but this time around, the politics get extra-personal. The album verges on being a concept piece, and the protagonist resembles frontwoman, Tina Halladay herself. The songs document a particularly alienating time in her life when she was laid off from a job. Broke and newly single, her father passed away, leaving her with more wounds than felt possible to heal.  It’s heavy power-pop so sleek it gleams. “We’ve been waiting to write these songs since we started the band and we were able to take these experiences and build a story out of them,” Halladay says. A Distant Call makes an argument for socialism on an anecdotal level. We’re talking about how late capitalism alienates and commodifies whatever is in its path without using the term ‘late capitalism.’” Palmer and Halladay’s new approach to lyricism extended to the recording process, too. Once the Seely brothers had laid down the tracks, Halladay recorded vocals with producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange).

INEPSY "Lost Tracks" LP (Feral Ward Records)
No surprises here, just 7 more songs of the catchy, gritty, stompin’ punk that Inepsy was known for. Basic tracking originally done in 2009, subsequently finished in 2017, and finally released now. No self-aggrandizing review hoping for flavor-of-the-day treatment. Love them or hate them, Inepsy didn’t care and doesn’t now. Comes with a large poster.

NIGHTMARE "Thirsty and Wander" LP (540 Records)
Latest album by japanese hardcore band Nightmare, the same guys who made the excellent "Give Notice Of Nightmare" back in '88. The 10 new songs are great and the old power of Nightmare is still there. Along with Gauze & Warhead, Nightmare is one of the few classic Japanese bands that never broke up and it's still going strong after all these years. Limited to 500 copies only.

LOOSE NUKES "Behind the Screen" 7" (Beach Impediment Records)
United by the confounds of the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, LOOSE NUKES is truly an East meets West hardcore punk detonation of immense proportions. Consisting of one half of Pittsburgh's late great BLOOD PRESSURE along with other residents of the Quaker State that have served time in the likes of SICKOIDS, DARK THOUGHTS and countless other Philadelphian greats over the years, the pedigree is undeniable and, as one would guess, the tunes themselves are high caliber in both their composition and raw delivery. "BEHIND THE SCREEN" is eight tracks of smoldering hardcore punk in just over nine and a half minutes. If you're looking for some kinda new spin on the olde wheel, it might be best to just keep walking / scrolling / etc. But if ya got a hankerin' for well executed hardcore punk, well shit bud, you've arrived! Each record comes in a double sided fold out sleeve a la the Cheetah Chrome Motherfuckers - Furious Party 7" adorned with art by resident Nukes crooner Jim Shomo.

HAIRCUT "Sensation" 7" (Beach Impediment Records)
After turning some heads with their debut 7" entitled "SHUTTING DOWN" released on the high quality Feel It Records label back in 2017, HAIRCUT have finally unleashed their follow up with the "SENSATION" EP. Four tracks of pummeling hardcore punk that retain the velocity and ferocity of the band's previous output whilst adding a decisive dose of meat and potatoes to the sonic formula, all the while Juliana belts out lyrics in both Spanish and English at a feverish pace. As we collectively sit on the cusp of entering the 2020's within a matter of months, HAIRCUT is a wonderful reminder that when it's done with equal parts precision and passion there's just no room for the gimmicks, posturing or other eye roll inducing baggage that tends to afflict the genre of hardcore punk, be it regionally or internationally. Such purity can stand on its own two feet and present itself loud and proud which is something that all enthusiasts can take great delight in as this genre cascades into yet another decade of continuation. Each record comes in a glue pocket sleeve with art and layout done by Colombian punk artist Juan Sebastian Rosillo.

LARMA "S/T" LP (Beach Impediment Records)
Can one ever have enough quality mangel in their life?! Beach Impediment is proud to not only be handling the North American pressing of this bombastic debut by Sweden's LARMA but to also answer that lingering question with a resounding "HELL NO!" Considering the folks in this band have been responsible for a large portion of the top tier raging hardcore punk to come from the greater Scandinavian area via their previous endeavors in the likes of SKITKIDS, HERÄTYS, INFERNÖH and loads more over the past couple decades, it's not even remotely surprising that the contents of this 12" are a remarkable regional tutorial sorts worked into a proper ass kicking from start to finish. Eleven tracks of kang punk hysteria that is not for the faint of heart. Each record comes in a UV gloss jacket featuring cover art by the band's own Jonas Pungen. Limited to a one time pressing of 500 copies.

NOSFERATU "A Field of Hope (Discography)" LP (Neck Chop Records)
Austin, TX’s NOSFERATU are one of the most substantive and powerful hardcore punk bands currently in operation. Often likened to rage linchpins such as VOID and KORO, Nosferatu’s too-good-to-be-true attack succeeds on all fronts: inventive & highly impressive drumming, tortured, piss-gutter vocals and excessively grimy riffs that unveil multiple hooks despite the concise nature of each breathless tune. Since forming in 2016, the gang have since amassed myriad short-run cassettes, stray compilation shards and one recognized ruler EP via Lumpy Records --- each new entry building upon its predecessor, exhibiting a brand of winning and raw scuzz that’s too drool-inducing for punks to ignore. Timed to coincide with their debut album (soon to be released via La Vida Es Un Mus - EURO, Media Disease/Todo Destruido - US), Neck Chop is thrilled to present all of Nosferatu’s savage formative material on LP format --- 56 tracks total!!! Mandatory punk, no excuses, no snoozing.

JUDY & THE JERKS "Friendships Formed in the Pit" LP (Neck Chop Records)
Timed hot on the heels of their blow-out Thrilling Living EP, Neck Chop enshrines Mississippi’s JUDY AND THE JERKS’ formative daze to wax with Friendships Formed In The Pit. Through their passionate touring and Hattiesburg-hosting schedules, these Jerks achieve a highly-endearing, from-the-jump frothy obsessiveness via classic-yet-spastic hardcore --- a sound centered on now-time freakiness, hyper-accelerated punky riffs and infectious F-U-N rather than faux-tuff posturing. Friendships Formed In The Pit compiles the inaugural 2017 demo tape, the follow-up Three Songs From Us To You and a handful of exclusive cuts, including a really raucous all-directions take on a sugary GO-GO’S classic. Truly vibrant and infectious USHC recommended for every punk with a pulse.

SKIZOPHRENIA! "Undead Melodies" 7" (Distort Reality Records)
Four new tracks of raw, quick and catchy hardcore punk rock from Tsuyama, Japan!

IRREAL "Fi Del Mon" LP (La Vida Es Un Mus)
IRREAL from Barcelona surprised us last year with a 6 track Demo tape of crude Hardcore which saw the band playing loads both local and internationally. The line up was made up of Barcelona punk scene stalwarts (NUEVA FUERZA, DESTINO FINAL, BARCELONA, ANARQUIA VERTICAL, UNA BÈSTIA INCONTROLABLE) which were not new to writing razor sharp riffs and impossibly catchy yet aggressive beats so their song writing and live performances lived up to the expectations. 2019 saw the band facing guitar player changes and with a new line up they entered studio with Dani Frutos to record the 9 songs on Fi Del Mon. 9 tracks or urgent hardcore punk continuing the tradition of modern Barcelona Hardcore while keeping and eye in Finish hardcore and which are not afraid to turn the speed down to a pace that could bring to mind mid paced DISCHARGE or CRO-MAGS. The riffs are thick and crunchy, full of feedback and distortion, backed by a solid rhythm section and a assertive Catalan voice which makes sure to enunciate every syllable breathing some fresh air to an otherwise stale scene. Mastered by Brad Boartright at Audiosiege. Fi Del Mon comes in a 350 gsm reverse board sleeve designed by singer Arturo and comes with a lyric sheet.

OBSESSIO "S/T" LP (La Vida Es Un Mus)
OBSESSIÓ’s debut is a blast of crude hardcore. Formed during the extremely dark times of August of 2018 and based between Athens and Barcelona the band first statement is an 8 track 12” at 45 rpm which knocks you down with the first chord. Kindly indebted to the living legacy of TOTALITÄR, CRUDITY and other Nordic Beat greats while keeping an unmistakably modern swagger. Breakneck pace and musical manufacture care of three Greeks who have set the stage for Angela’s no doubt bleak summary of the world, whose distinctively intimidating and minimal powerhouse voice crashes across OBSESSIÓ’s music. No songs over 2 minutes, no frills or tricks, no contemplative pondering on delicate matters, and most of all no fucking melody. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Ignite Music Studios in Athens. Sleeve designed by the greatest Teodoro Hernández who effortlessly captures the bleakness and rage contained in this PUNK 45 RPM 12”.

SOGA "Demo 2018" LP (Iron Lung Records)
Somos una banda de tres chavas de México.  All the tracks from the incendiary 2018 demo remixed to their fullest potential. This tape was too good not to put on history's preferred format. Scrappy hardcore by members of RIÑA, CREMALLERAS and RATAS DEL VATICANO. We can't wait to hear what they come up with next. 300 copies of 150gr translucent purple vinyl housed in a 24pt jacket with a printed inner sleeve. Art by Sara & Fani. Sound by Gabriel Mazin & Yecatl Peña. Mastered by Will Killingsworth.

UNDER ATTACK "Through the Blade" 7" (Iron Lung Records)
Vicious precision hardcore from Richmond VA played by members of DEVOID OF FAITH, MUNICIPAL WASTE and SUPPRESSION. No blast, no chug, just acidic shredding ire here. An effervescent debut amidst a deluge of bland apathy.150 translucent red and 250 black 70gr 7" records housed in a custom die cut glue pocket sleeve with insert and download card included.

PROTOCOL "Bloodsport" 12" (11 PM Records)
PROTOCOL is a band with a mission, destroy Tallahassee and take the rest of america with it. With "Bloodsport", PROTOCOL releases a powerful blast of unrelenting fast-driving hardcore punk that pulls you in and holds you captive until its final note. Originally released as a tape, we just had to get this release on a one-sided 12 inch “micro” LP out of 300 on blood red vinyl. One-time only exclusive pressing split between 11 PM Records and Dynastic Yellow Star.

ADDERALL "vs. Big Pharma" 7" (11 PM Records)
Asheville, NC punk hardcore with blown out menacing vibe that weighs down on your conscience. 300 one-time pressing. Split with TV Jesus records.

DRUG LUST "No One is Home" 7" (Cruel Noise Records)
Hardcore freaks in ski-masks are back to terrorizing unsuspecting bar goers with fireworks and loud noise and new songs that are faster and dumber than anything they have done before. Limited release.

DETAINEES "Demo" 7" (Double Man Records)
The best beach punk band in the entire Midwest just dropped a killer of an ep. Perfect catchy mean punk that falls somewhere between early 2000s Danish punk & Rik L Rik. - Eric Montanez. Screen printed covers.

CORVO 2019 Demo Tape (Society Bleeds Records)
New DC hardcore band, but doing a Motorhead / d-beat style with vocals sung in Spanish. They get folks of all ages moving around the room with their infectious riffs and mid-tempo closing track. Rarely do bands start off so strong, but as soon as they played their first show, they were a tight unit of destruction. Grab a tape before they're gone, 1234 Corvo! Members of CDR and NEEDLE!

SPECIAL INTEREST "Spiraling" (Euro Press) LP (Anxious Music)
Fantastic debut vinyl offering from New Orleans' own SPECIAL INTEREST. Eight tracks of propulsive no wave dirge that's as dance-able as it is aggressive. You might recognize Nathan from Mystic Inane and Patsy on bass, but there's really no sonic connection with either of those groups and Special Interest. The mix is ruled by a mix of live and programmed drums, rumbling bass, and Ali's commanding vocals. I feel like fans of anything from L.O.T.I.O.N. to Flipper to Lydia Lunch are going to find something enjoyable about Special Interest. The rhythm section grooves hard across this entire disc, with a serious and confident vocal presence at the top of the mix. A very unique release that I feel is going to sway quite a few heads upon first listen - feelitrecords.com

HEAVY DISCIPLINE "S/T" 7" (Painkiller Records)
On Heavy Discipline’s first recording Pittsburgh continues to deliver weapons grade HC/punk in 2019. Folks from Hounds of Hate, Blood Pressure, Curmudgeon, and more jackhammer your ears with 5 tracks of ‘83-flavored slam and stomp power.

BRAIN TOURNIQUET "S/T" 7" (Painkiller Records)
10 songs of full-tilt, blast-driven, start and stop hardcore that serves as a tribute to the glory days of west coast legends like No Comment, Capitalist Casualties, and Crossed Out. No watered down “main stage” phoniness, just blunt force trauma to the skull.

POBREZA MENTAL "Ya No Me Pertenezco" 7" (Toxic State Records)
Blistering debut 7” on Toxic State from our favorite new NYC hardcore punk band, Pobreza Mental. Not much to say other than this record is so good and each repeat listen reveals something else to love about it. Ex and current members of Warthog, Dawn of Humans, Tercer Mundo, etc.

DEATH SIDE "Bet on the Possibility" LP (Feral Ward Records)
Second LP from Japan's DEATH SIDE reissued officially! Never mind those shit euro bootlegs, these are top-quality legitimate reissues. Legendary Japanese hardcore at its best. No long-winded glamorizing write-up needed.

DEATH SIDE "Wasted Dream" LP (Feral Ward Records)
The debut LP from Japan's one and only DEATH SIDE has finally received a proper US reissue - Never mind those shit euro bootlegs, these are top-quality legitimate reissues. Legendary Japanese hardcore at its best. No long-winded glamorizing write-up needed. "Death Side is the greatest hardcore punk band in Japan. They prefer to remain enigmas, hardly ever consenting to do interviews. Yet their popularity has grown tremendously in Japan over time … the four members of Death Side have been converting 100 energy into a pure hardcore explosion while continually adding to their music, mutating and progressing into a beast of their own."

SWANKYS "Rest of Swankys Demos / Wank Sessions" LP (Fanclub Release)
Early and rare tracks from this Japanese noise punk band.

V/A "Complete Death Live" LP (w/ OUTO, S.O.B., SQWAD, POISON ARTS) (Fanclub Release)
Japanese compilation with Outo, Sqwad, S.O.B., and Poison Arts. Taken from the beta master version used for the live japanse TV broadcast.

ATTACK SS "Mask of Those" 7" (Distort Reality Records)
Japanese noise punk from Okazaki, Aichi province. Latest 7" released for their West Coast and Manic Relapse dates.

FRENZY "S/T" LP (Distort Reality Records)
Frenzy are back with a full length LP of noisey, pogo happy punk song. Seriously killer punk, no fucking gimmicks.

PENANCE HALL "Covered in Shit" 7" (Neck Chop Records)
NOLA neg-vibing courtesy of TRAMPOLINE TEAM’s Michael He-Man and our righteous lord, GIORGIO MURDERER. Abandon hope all ye who enter PENANCE HALL, lest ye get “Covered In Shit” --- a brilliant and heretofore nameless opera of waddling synth-punk sludge, neo-classic despite the impending end of life as we know it. “Take Me To The Bar Fight” goes positively subterranean, extolling the virtues of neon-lit violence and taking unnerving pleasure in the consequences. In total, a brisk work of frightful din, sure to peel the punkest of scabs. Grievous, thuggish and essential sounds.

V/A "Discontinuous Innovation Inc. Product Sampler" Compilation LP (Neck Chop Records)
Neck Chop’s prime corporate directive for the fiscal year is to partner with like-minded firms on projects that are mutually beneficial and present limitless opportunities for future expansion. With that, cutting-edge Bay Area entity DISCONTINUOUS INNOVATION, INC. has agreed to a co-branded effort whereby Neck Chop will saturate the vinyl market with a curated set of digital-only offerings from the stable of DI, Inc.’s authentically underground artists. Product Sampler is intended to act as a phase-one influencer in a mutual long-haul effort to turn the artisanal into the institutional, the fledgling into the canonical and to ultimately permeate the consumer consciousness of every Punk™ for generations to come. To retain each firm’s respective grass-roots beginnings, Product Sampler selections were finalized during a Casual Friday whiteboard session (lunch was provided) held at a neutral office park. Representatives from Neck Chop insisted on the inclusion of both NEO NEOS and ERIK NERVOUS, as a working relationship had already been established via prior well-received projects. DI, Inc. were adamant about LANDLINE, TOYOTA and WONDER BREAD, all of whom have a reputation in crafting challenging yet critically acclaimed work for other competing imprints. Perhaps the true coup engineered through Product Sampler are the installments from SCANTRON, MR. RIB, SAFETY CTRL, PLUNK 67, HOUSTON & THE PROBLEMS, LOOSE CHANGE and/or STUCKO. Point of fact: street credibility can’t be bought, though we’ve stacked the deck with these upstarts. Product Sampler: ground-floor confusion for this modern age of clarity. For supplemental materials [process flows, org charts, branded koozies, Roland TR-66 manuals, etc.), please contact Neck Chop via standard industry protocol. DI, Inc. wishes to forgo receipt of any correspondence and opts to accept wired funds / crypto via any illicit channel seen fit.

TRAMPOLINE TEAM "Kill You" 7" (Neck Chop Records)
New Orleans’ fire-at-will TRAMPOLINE TEAM bounce back with Kill You, a four-song crash test with death (yours specifically!) as the central thematic concern. “Kill You On A Streetcar” very nearly approaches hardcore, with the slicing central riff retracting juuuuuust enough to allow for another rapid-stab hook. These moments of punky gallantry appear throughout the EP, each showcasing TT’s expert knack for legit lost-art garage punk, turn ‘o the century style --- steeped in smirk, obscured by hiss, down to kill. Those already clued-in enough to be on board have new cause to careen, but Kill You oughta prove most deadly for the as-yet uninitiated. Does Lucky Dog even accept Kroner? For your sake, we hope so. In obvious parlance: KILLER.

LOST SYSTEM "Left Behind" LP (Neck Chop Records)
With some distance now between their 2017 debut, Lost System has honed their sound beyond mere impetus with Left Behind, doubling-down with measured swaths of suitably icy disenchantment, all tersely arranged to stride alongside the lauded heavies of the international post-punk cognoscenti. Goth-hued moments like “No Regrets” almost ache with phase and throb. “Discipline” flips toward industrial-informed synth-punk derangement, giving way to the closure of the title track, an epic semi-suite that begins as dour slow-dance that eventually speeds through the sleet. Discarded at the edge of the world --- Left Behind.

REGIONAL JUSTICE CENTER "Institution" LP (Triple B Records)
Ian Shelton formed the Los Angeles, CA. power-violence collective Regional Justice Center after his younger brother, the 18-year-old Max, was given a years-long prison sentence for assault. Last year, Regional Justice Center released their debut album, "World Of Inconvenience," and it was specifically inspired by Max's incarceration. Now, they follow it up with the new EP "Institution."

DOMINANT FORCE "Cosmic Denial" LP (Triple B Records)
The Orange County, Florida hardcore band Dominant Force is relatively new to the world, but they sound like guys who would've scared the shit out of you when you first started going to shows. Dominant Force's sound is a furious, adrenal take on mid-'80s, tough-guy hardcore - that Cro-Mags moment, when metal influences were just starting to show up, and when shows were basically all-out brawls.

WILD SIDE "Who the Hell is Wild Side?" LP (Triple B Records)
Five years in the making, "Who The Hell Is Wild Side?" is the first LP from Niagra Falls, Ontario, Candada's Wild Side. The result of years of waiting is an LP that brings to mind the NYHC "The Way It Is" comp, with buzzsaw guitars and a growl reminiscent of the late, great Raybeez, complete with wailing solos. For fans of Warzone and Iron Boots.

MINDFORCE "Excalibur" LP (Triple B Records)
Hudson Valley, NY, all-stars make their debut Triple-B release with "Excalibur." Ten tracks of blistering crossover-influenced hardcore in the vein of Cro-Mags, Leeway, and Burn. After selling out multiple pressings of their debut 7"s and split with Dead Heat, "Excalibur" takes Mindforce to the next level in aggressive music.

ABUSE OF POWER "What on Earth Can We Do?" LP (Triple B Records)
What On Earth Can We Do? falls almost perfectly between the Quicksand-leanings of the latest Fury album and the '90s crunch of Magnitude, also bearing some of the melody of later Turning Point.

ANTAGONIZE "Slip Death" LP (Triple B Records)
It didn't take long for Aaron Bedard of Bane to grab the mic and front another band. With Antagonize, Bedard teamed up with members of other local Northeast bands like Glory, Warfare, Wound Man, and Vantage Point to make hardcore with a more straightforward sound than his earlier project, infusing some '90s crunch and excluding the melodies.

ANXIOUS "Never Better" 7" (Triple B Records)
Connecticut indie/emo three-piece Anxious marks their Triple-B Records debut with this four-song EP, rife with melody and impassioned vocals, bringing in influences from later Title Fight and Fiddlehead

LINE OF SIGHT "S/T" LP (Refuse Records)
You should be familiar with this Washington DC Straight Edge Hardcore powerhouse already but if you somehow not this is your chance. Line of Sight features members of Mindset, Protester, Pure Disgust or Free just to name a few. No surprise that collective effort of this dedicated individuals created such an intense, tight and energetic hardcore. In such sad current state of the world this band is a strong posi-force we all need. This release contains remastered songs from their debut demo and songs that appeared on 7" on Youngblood Records. One-time pressing of 544 copies so don't sleep on this.

GRATITUDE Fanzine Issue #3 (Zine)
Covert art by the great Joe Daly. In-depth interview with Iron Age about the making of The Sleeping Eye. Shorter interview with Red Death. Other stuff you might expect if you have read previous issues: show reviews and what not. This one is only 16 pages full size, but it has a lot of text in it!

VERBAL ASSAULT "Trial" LP (Atomic Action Records)
Classic Rhode Island hardcore band Verbal Assault's 1987 masterpiece finally re-issued and remastered by Nick Townsend from Townsend Mastering (drummer for Fireburn/ Deadbeat). Originally released in 1987 Verbal Assault bridged the gap between "heavy" hardcore and "smart" hardcore playing extensively with everyone from Agnostic Front to Fugazi. Lyrically "Trial" hit on personal but also socio/political themes while never letting up musically. This is the first time since it's original release 31 years ago its been re-issued.

ALONE IN A CROWD "S/T" 7" (Atomic Action Records)
Finally reissued, this 7" is the only output from the legendary Alone In A Crowd, who featured Jules from Side By Side on vocals and Lars of Judge and Uppercut fame among others. They played one show at The Anthrax in Connecticut with Judge and Chain Of Strength and then vanished, leaving behind nothing but memories and this 7" recording whose original pressing fetches tall sums on online auctions.

RUBELLA BALLET "Day Glo Daze" LP (Last Hour Records)
“The band who bridged the gaps between the Sex Pistols, X-Ray Spex, and Crass.” - Tyler Vile, Punk Globe. Legendary genre-spanning group Rubella Ballet are delighted to announce the release of a significant new compilation album Day Glo Daze. Available in strictly limited numbers, this special multi-coloured splatter effect vinyl album is as unique as the band that created it, with the pressing colours changed every five copies. In addition to the vinyl album, those purchasing Day Glo Daze recieve unlimited streaming the album via the free Bandcamp app, plus high- quality download in MP3, FLAC and more. Released by Near Dark and Last Hour Records, Day Glo Daze collects all the singles released by Rubella Ballet from 1979 to date and includes several tracks that have become so rare in their original form that they are now almost impossible to buy. In addition to providing the definitive collection of the group’s single releases, the album also includes all relevant b-sides as well as a special graphic insert. All tracks have been remixed by the group’s founding mainstay, Sid Truelove, enabling the material to be heard in the manner in which it was originally intended. Now celebrating their fortieth anniversary, Rubella Ballet have been hailed as ‘a unique sensory phenomenon’ who transcended their anarcho punk roots to explore and define postpunk, goth and dance. Their spectacular uultraviolet/day-glo stage show has thrilled audiences across the UK, US and Europe, and the band – fronted by original members Zillah Minx and Sid Truelove – continue to tour to this day.

CHEMICAL PEOPLE "The Singles" Tape (Wallride Records)
Drop in to this crucial collection of white hot early CHEMICAL PEOPLE material. Covering their 2" Pecker Records output from '88-'89, this tape is jam packed with confoundingly tight, dynamic tunes that are easy on the ears, lyrics that are easy on your brain cells, and nary a track moving past the two minute thirty second mark. Pure, outrageous fun. Plus, more than a few covers get the classic Chemical People treatment on here that range from the Hard-Ons to Spinal Tap. A must own for melodic punk snobs and slobs alike.

SHEER MAG "First Three Eps" Tape (Get Better Records)
Sheer Mag’s Compilation Tape features the Philadelphia rock band’s three seven-inches, released between 2014 and 2016. All twelve songs were recorded onto the same vintage 8-track tape machine, carted to various locations around Philadelphia. The first two were produced in a makeshift studio wedged between two bedrooms in the band’s former South Philly house, while the third came out of a practice space in the Port Richmond neighborhood. Sequenced chronologically, the newly remastered songs reveal a young DIY band finding its sound.

UNDER ATTACK Demo Tape (Vinyl Conflict Label)
Straight out of the depths of Richmond comes this classic sounding, balls out brutal hardcore band who bring darkness, anger, and heart into their raw sound. A bunch of old friends who reconnected with one another at the right time in their lives- to write and record these 5 killer tracks. The line up features members of Discordance Axis, Human Remains, Limp Wrist, Suppression, Death Squad, Eucharist, etc. Don’t sleep on this one, its a fucking doozy.
