New Titles in the Webstore for 1/26/23:

CROW "Who Killed Dove" 7" (Prank Records)
Crow "Who Killed Dove?" was originally issued in Japan on the band's own Crow Records in 1985 and was the Osaka band's first release. Four raw blasts with the rumbling immediacy of classic early UK hardcore delivered with some of the inventive craftsmanship that would come to define Japanese hardcore. Searing guitar drops, walloping bass, crashing cymbals and scowling harsh vocals, The title track is one of the band's signature Anthems and this Landmark EP is one of those defining cornerstones of 1980's Japanese hardcore. This is it's first official re-release since it's original re-issue . Remastered in 2020 by Anne-Marie Suenram in Berkeley and pressed at Erika Records in five different colors of vinyl. Comes packaged in an exact replica of the original fold out poster sleeve and comes with a sticker.

MASSACRED, THE "Post Mortem" 7" (Active-8 Records)
After a long battle with a couple different pressing plants THE MASSACRED "POST-MORTEM" EP is finally out. This EP is 8 tracks of early straight forward UK and Scandinavian style hardcore punk from BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS.

NEGAZIONE "…Lo Spirito Continua…" LP (Spittle Records)
Reissue of the debut album made out of ten unforgettable tracks, each an emotional and political manifesto. Originally released on Konkurrel in 1986, Lo Spirito Continua is the album where the italian HC band reached their peak! Their frantic hardcore became more technical, leading to the future crossover turning point. This reissue comes with both the original album artwork from the original release, as well as the TVOR repressing from 1989.

INDRE KRIG "Destroyer" 7" (Beach Impediment Records)
Released earlier in the year on the magnificent Adult Crash Records out of Copenhagen, Denmark, Beach Impediment is pleased to handle the North American pressing of an absolute, bonafide international hardcore punk ripper... the "DESTROYER" EP from INDRE KRIG! Six tracks of razor sharp musicianship with truly memorable hooks and riffs to match it, this platter keeps up the reputation K-Town has garnered for generating quality punk music over the course of multiple decades now. Each record comes in a pocket sleeve embellished with particularly striking art by the living legend we call Nicky Rat.

VIDRO "Glöd" LP (Beach Impediment Records)
And here we have it, the North American pressing of VIDRO's brilliant 2nd 12" titled "GLÖD." Featuring an amalgamation of members that span the globe from Brazil to the USA to their sonic and geographical home of Stockholm, Sweden, VIDRO have been churning out quality hardcore punk in recorded and live settings for five years now with no apparent signs of letting up anytime soon. Previously released on Germany's Kink Records near the outset of 2022, this North American pressing serves both as a means to alert the uninitiated of what they've been missing along with providing a taste of what is to come. Each record comes in a jacket with a large poster, featuring design work and art by VIDRO guitarist Lucas Lima.

PHANTOM 7-Song Demo Tape (11PM Records)
Wild and ferocious, this New Brunswick New Jersey hardcore band presents their dangerous energy and astral projects it onto the scene. Already making waves in the northeast, this band of ruffians is members of....nada. Influenced by Active Ingredients and Honor Role while at the same time sharing sonic space with NASA Space Universe and Dawn of Humans. Already one of the most active bands in their area, make sure to check out PHANTOM in a city near you.

ROLEX 2022 Promo Tape  (11PM Records)
THEY'RE BACK! Rolex is back with a promo that returns with a vengeance. From an upcoming split LP with my other favorite LA band, Grimly Forming. These are four of the ten songs that will be on it and its seriously going to crush. Rolex brings their freaky blend of RKL and Die Kruzen but this time, its wayyy faster. Out of 200 cassettes and they will go fast.

ICD10 "Faith in Institutions" LP (Sorry State Records)
Sorry State is proud to present the debut vinyl from Philadelphia’s ICD10. Featuring members of Philly heavyweights like Fuckin’ Lovers and Poison Ruin, ICD10 sounds like they’ve soaked up 40 years of hardcore history and are sweating it out into a battered denim jacket covered in rusted studs and faded band logos. Swirling around ICD10’s tornado of noise, I hear the anthemic anarcho-hardcore of Final Conflict and the Iconoclast, the total noise approach of 80s Kyushu punk, the off-kilter artiness of early 2010s New York, and Gudon’s marriage of heaviness and musicality. ICD10’s vocals are bathed in noise and effects, but rather than the uniform delay effect most hardcore bands employ, there are a range of effects that sometimes cascade across the manic riffing and sometimes lock in with it, creating jagged looping effects that evoke a crumbling technological dystopia. Lyrically, ICD10 combines Crass’s political astuteness with Poison Idea’s nihilism; the world is fucked, the system is rigged, and the only momentary respite is in tasting the void. Faith in Institutions is an unrelentingly bleak record, but it channels its hopelessness into an original and compelling take on hardcore punk.

H.I.C. SYSTEEMI "Perälä-nauhat 1981-1983" Tape (Sorry State Records)
Sorry State presents a US pressing of H.I.C. Systeemi’s Perälä-nauhat 1981-1983 cassette, originally released on the archival label Finnish HC late in 2020. Perälä-nauhat 1981-1983 collects early rehearsal recordings by this underrated hardcore band from Ylivieska, Finland. Don’t let the fact that these are rehearsal recordings scare you… the recordings sound excellent and the band is on fire throughout. Anyone with an appreciation for fast, complex, and memorable 80s-style hardcore punk will have no problem enjoying this, but if you’re familiar with 80s Finnish hardcore or H.I.C. Systeemi’s other recordings, all the better. These recordings predate H.I.C. Systeemi’s lone studio album by several years, and include 6 previously unheard tracks that never got recorded in a proper studio.

SIRKKA "Viivyttely" 7" (Sorry State Records)
Kuluttava Kone, the 2020 cassette from Sirkka, has been in constant rotation at Sorry State since it came out, and when the opportunity arose to release Sirkka’s debut record, we couldn’t say yes fast enough. While Sirkka began as a two-person recording project based in New York, on Viivyttely they’ve expanded to a four-piece lineup, albeit one whose members are spread across the US east coast and Leipzig, Germany. Vocalist Sanja’s commanding snarl serves as further evidence that Finnish is the best language for hardcore punk, while the band draws from their roots in early 80s New England hardcore and their fascination with 80s Finnish punk, creating a unique sound that fuses the former’s brute force to the latter’s subtle sense of melody. It’s like Jerry’s Kids, SSD, Rattus, and Kaaos in one giant pigpile. Five tracks of hardcore punk that crackle with intensity.

INFERNO PERSONALE "In Ira Veritas" LP (Symphony of Destruction Records)
First Lp for this international band (Italy, Colombia, Germany & Argentina) based in Bremen in Germany. Totaly 11 tracks of Crasher-Crust as fuck, with 5 brand new on the side A and 6 re-recorded from the quick sold-out demo cassette on the side B during the same session, with a special mastered treatment at Noise Room in Japan for a good care of your ears!!

L'ODI SOCIAL "Que Pagui Pujol" 7" (Bcore Disc)
Special 35th Anniversary Edition of one of the most important recordings in the history of Spain’s punk. L'Odi Social were pioneers and greatest exponents of the golden age of 80s Barcelona's hardcore-punk scene, along with bands like Subterranean Kids, Anti/Dogmatikss or GRB. Facsimile reissue that respects for the first time the size and details of the original 1986 edition: single format, epic folding cover (influenced by CRASS albums) and complete artwork.Limited edition of 800 copies, remastered for vinyl 5 aggressive, fleeting and historical songs. For fans of: Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Battalion of Saints, DRI or Negazione.

ESKORBUTO "Eskizofrenia" LP (Color Vinyl) (Munster Records)
Munster Records proudly reissues Eskorbuto's first LP from 1985, one of the most influential punk albums in the Spanish and Latin American scenes, which showcases what they are known for: radicalism, a self-taught style and crude lyrics. When asked to describe the album tracks in an interview at the time of its release, band member Iosu preferred instead to tell some anecdotes about the band and share his views on a few issues. Some excerpts from that interview give a good idea of what this record and band were about: "Many bands have good ideas and I like what they're saying, but when it comes to it, they're just a lie. You're not alive, you're not dead, just condemned. It's worrying, you're part of what you most hate: the system. It's unbelievable. The earth is a big toilet where we all survive and if it's flushed we'll all go to shit. When we were recording 'Rogad A Dios A Los Muertos' and listened to the vocals without music, it seemed like a sort of evil ritual. If we've used the Simmons electronic drums it's because it suited us during the recording. If it's good, hurray for science! The last lyrics we've written say: 'Ignorant people that were afraid of us before/become friendly without our permission/cowards pretending to be brave/badmouthing us in front of people/but careful, we warn you, we're the same as when we started'

ESKORBUTO "Ya No Quedan Mas Cojones, Eskorbuto a las Elecciones" LP (Munster Records)
Reissue of this 1986 cassette by Eskorbuto, one of the most influential punk bands in the Spanish and Latin American scenes. Its original release was part of their campaign to enter the Spanish general elections as a political party. They didn't achieve it, but the songs here told more truths that any political speech. These six tracks offer what they are known for: radicalism, a self-taught style and crude lyrics. Another blow of their anti-everything stand. Includes insert.

SENTIDO COMUN "1983-1985" LP (Bcore Disc)
This collection LP by the legendary anarchopunk band from Barcelona SENTIDO COMÚN features not only their demo, but several live recordings with a lot of unreleased songs. All of the music has been remastered for this reissue and is accompanied with an 8-page zine full of info, photos, flyers, and other content about the band. Limited edition of 400 copies.

VATICAN COMMANDOS "Point Me to the End (plus Bonus Tracks)" LP (Yellow Vinyl) (Radiation Records)
Formed in the wealthy coastal town of Darien Connecticut in the early 1980, hardcore punk band Vatican Commandos released their debut EP, Hit Squad For God, in 1983, followed swiftly by the Just A Frisbee EP. Recorded in the summer of 1984, shortly before their ultimate demise, the blistering EP Point Me To The End captures the band at their most competent, bolstered by high production values, with a one-off poem by beat-punk poet Earl broadening the boundaries; this edition is made complete by the inclusion of crucial bonus tracks ‘Your World Is Flat’ and ‘Morality,’ from the ultra-rare compilation Make It Work.

YOUTH OF TODAY "Breath Every Breath: Don Fury Demos 1986 & Live CBGB's 1985" LP (Die Hard Records)
Amazing compilation by the legendary Connecticut heroes Youth Of Today. The main feature is the ultra rare Don Fury Demo from 1986, recorded just prior to recording the debut album, “Break down the walls”. Super raw versions of the album tracks, plus other bits…kind of like “Before the quarrel” by Cro Mags. On the b-side you can find the two tracks from the “Make it work” compilation released in 1985 and a great live set recorded at CBGB on 12/05/1985. History is here, it’s time to break down the walls.

MERCYFUL FATE "Open the Tomb (Demos 1981/82)" LP (Color Vinyl) (Fanclub Pressing)
